CM attempts to reduce tensions between Rangers, home minister

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday held a meeting with Sindh Rangers Director General Major General Bilal Akbar to discuss the raid conducted by Rangers in Larkana in a bid to reduce the tension persisting between Rangers and Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial’s brother Tariq Sial.
The Rangers DG briefed the chief minister about the raid conducted in Larkana and said the security forces wanted to apprehend culprit Asad Kharal while Tariq Sial placed hurdles in the process.
The DG Rangers stated that Kharal was the main culprit of the entire incident who was wanted in many cases. He added that culprits behind the entire incident shall be presented before the court after their arrest.
The CM said that Rangers operation should not be affected by such episodes and he assured him the Sindh government’s utmost cooperation for apprehension of the culprits. Besides, Babu Sarwar Sial was also summoned by the law enforcement agencies in order to record his statement which he had uttered against Suhail Anwar Sial in a press conference.

Suhail Anwar Sial finds himself in a difficult situation after the events taking place in Larkana that too when the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership is also considering to replace him.
